Wisconsin Dairy Recovery Program
Hunger Relief Federation of Wisconsin has joined forces with Hunger Task Force, Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin and the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection to help provide relief to the growing numbers of hungry families and struggling dairy farmers by connecting milk to emergency food organizations throughout the state.
With the newly created Wisconsin Dairy Recovery Program, Wisconsin dairy farmers will be paid to supply dairy to farmer-owned dairy cooperative Kemps, who will kick off the beginning phase by processing thousands of gallons of milk at its Cedarburg facility.
Dairy products will then be distributed to Free & Local partner food banks and food pantries through the Hunger Relief Federation of Wisconsin.
You must be a member of the Hunger Relief Federation to receive products from the Wisconsin Dairy Recovery Program. There is absolutely no cost associated with membership. There is no cost for product or delivery. Becoming a member is easy. Find out more and sign up!
